Refund Policy

1. Refund summary

• Each sold item is a digital download, not a shipped paper card.
• Standard price per card is $1.00 USD unless a product page shows otherwise.
• After successful payment, the file is available for download; that starts delivery.
• We refund or replace when the file cannot be delivered due to a store fault, or when billing errors create a clear overcharge.

2. Why digital refunds are limited

Once a digital birthday card is paid for and made available, you can save, forward, or print the file. That is different from a physical product that can be returned unused in the mail.

For that reason, change-of-mind refunds after a successful download are generally not available. This protects both customers and the store from abuse of instant digital delivery.

Your statutory rights under applicable consumer law still apply where they cannot be waived.

3. When we refund or make it right

Contact us promptly if any of the following happen:

• Download failure: payment succeeded but the WebP file never became available and we cannot restore access;
• Corrupt or unusable file: the delivered file will not open and a replacement still fails;
• Duplicate charge: you were charged twice for the same card order;
• Wrong item caused by our catalog error: the page promised one design and delivered a clearly different file because of a store mapping fault;
• Unauthorized transaction: after reasonable verification, the charge was not made by the account holder.

Where possible we prefer re-sending the correct download before issuing a cash refund, especially for single $1 card purchases.

4. When we usually do not refund

• You downloaded the file successfully and later decided you wanted a different design;
• You chose the wrong friendship collection or style by mistake after seeing the preview;
• Your printer, phone, or messaging app compressed or cropped the image;
• You expected a physical card in the mail (the Site sells digital downloads);
• You shared the file and want a new purchase cancelled for that reason alone.

5. How to request a refund or fix

Email respond@birthdaywishforfriend.com with:

• order number;
• purchase email;
• card title or collection name;
• short description of the problem;
• screenshots if the download page shows an error.

6. Review process and timing

We review complete requests as quickly as practical, usually within a few business days. Approved refunds return to the original payment method according to your bank or payment provider’s timing.

Keep your order email. It is the fastest way for us to locate the purchase and restore a download link.

7. Chargebacks

If you have a delivery problem, contact respond@birthdaywishforfriend.com before opening a chargeback so we can repair access or refund when appropriate. Chargebacks opened without contacting us may delay resolution while the payment provider investigates.
